Morning dawns,
a new light emerges,
darkness retreats lusting to return,
dew fresh and plenty,
upon the leaves and the flowers,
above sustaining but never enough
cautiously sliding to become one,
no longer two, they hold together tightly
these small drops of dew,
more than they seem, simple yet complex
one sustains one,as does the other always holding on,
seen but only superficial,no one gets them as they do
through the travels they remain clinging to a deers
pelt, sliding through the grass, brushed upon by a
squirrel, night falls and, they are lost in darkness,
hold they do through the cold and quiet hours
new dawn light spreads illuminating the land once more
together they remain together they shall remain,
always held tightly
together
